The Soroptimist House was the first project of Soroptimist International of Rockwall and continues to be our flagship project. The club began working on the project in 1984 and the project was completed in 1986. Over the years with the help of over 100 members, countless businesses and individuals in the community Soroptimist House became reality. The purpose of the house is to provide, promote, sponsor and coordinate services for the benefit of Rockwall area children and their families.

Currently, the Soroptimist House is the home of The Children’s Advocacy Center for Rockwall County (CACRC). Soroptimist International of Rockwall has subsidized the rent from the beginning of the project. Our members continue to raise funds, volunteer, and assist the CACRC in any way we can to help provide much needed services to the children of Rockwall County who are victims of sexual abuse, assault and neglect. We are very proud to be a founding member of the CACRC.

Since the inception of the CACRC Soroptimist International of Rockwall has donated $50,000 in cash and over $600,000 in donated rent.
