The Pink Bag & Diaper Bag Project

At Soroptimist International of Rockwall, our mission to uplift, support, and empower women and young mothers is at the heart of everything we do. Through our ongoing Pink Bag and Diaper Bag initiatives, we share a vital message with local women going through challenging times: “You are not alone, and someone out there cares.”

Pink Bag Project

The Pink Project supports women undergoing chemotherapy. SI Rockwall Club members donate a variety of items and give care bags to lift the spirits as women leave the treatment center.

  • Who It Serves: Women in our community actively fighting cancer— many of whom face treatment alone, whether by choice or circumstance.
  • Our Impact: Each year, we assemble and deliver 100 Pink Bags filled with special personal care items and gentle treats designed to bring warmth, comfort, beauty, and joy to an otherwise difficult day.
  • Distribution: Delivered to local doctors’ offices.

Diaper Bag Project

The Diaper Bag Project supports expectant mothers. SI Rockwall Club members donate diaper bags filled with essential items and deliver them to women in the community.

  • Who It Serves: New mothers in need, including single mothers without local family support systems, young mothers in high school, and those living in local group homes or shelters.
  • Our Impact: We provide 24 fully stocked diaper bags each year, filled to the brim with newborn essentials for those crucial first days after delivery and coming home.
  • Distribution: Delivered to the Pregnancy Resource Center (PRC) in Rockwall and Selah Creek in Royse City.
